This photograph was taken in Colorado somewhere along the continental divide. I love the way that these beautiful trees are leaning toward the beauty of the sunset. It is clear that they have struggled and their roots have been exposed, their growth altered by the harsh weather and yet they grew together, swaying together toward a moment of beauty.
